Where we work
Pick your region to find your suburb. If it isn’t listed, call us: the list shows the suburbs with their own page, not every street we’ll drive to.

Concreters in the Hills
From established streets in Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills to acreage in Kenthurst and Glenorie. Crossings here are approved by The Hills Shire, Hornsby Shire or the City of Parramatta, and several suburbs sit on a council boundary, so we check which one applies before we quote.
Hills District

Region
Concreters in the Hawkesbury
Our home ground. River flats, sloping bush blocks and long rural driveways, from Windsor and Pitt Town out to St Albans, Colo and up the ridge to Mount Wilson. Most of it is Hawkesbury City Council, with the ridge in the Blue Mountains and a few edges in Penrith, Hornsby and Singleton. Across the river we work on the Central Coast too.

Councils we work across
A new driveway almost always includes the crossing between the road and your boundary. That part sits on council land, so your council approves it and sets what it has to be built to. We work across all eight of these councils and build to whichever specification applies.
- Hawkesbury City Council
- The Hills Shire Council
- Hornsby Shire Council
- City of Parramatta
- Blue Mountains City Council
- Central Coast Council
- Penrith City Council
- Singleton Council

How it works, wherever you are
The same process in Castle Hill as in Colo. Distance changes the logistics, not the standard.
Tell us the job
Call or send the form with your suburb, the type of job and a rough size. Photos of the site help.
Get an itemised quote
Every stage is priced separately, from excavation to finish, so you can compare it line by line.
We prepare the site
Our own crew does the clearing, excavation, levels and formwork. No waiting on another contractor.
Pour and finish
The same crew pours and finishes the concrete, then cleans up the site.
Not sure if we cover your suburb?
Call and ask. If it’s outside our area, we’ll tell you on the spot.

Service area FAQs
Anything else, call 0468 491 882.
What areas does Southo Concrete service?
We work across the Hills, the Hawkesbury, Sydney and the Central Coast. That runs from Hills District suburbs like Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills, through the acreage belt around Dural and Kenthurst, across the Hawkesbury from Windsor to Wisemans Ferry, Kurrajong and Colo, and up to Mangrove Mountain on the Central Coast.
Where are you based?
We’re based in the Hawkesbury, NSW. That puts the Hawkesbury and the Hills close to home, and we also take on work across Sydney and the Central Coast.
My suburb isn’t listed. Do you still work there?
Probably. The suburbs on this page are the ones with their own local page, and each of those covers its neighbours too. Call 0468 491 882 with your suburb and the job, and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can take it on.
Do you work on the Central Coast?
Yes. We work at Mangrove Mountain and across the Central Coast, with the same crew and the same free quote as everywhere else. Driveway crossings there are approved by Central Coast Council.
Do you do commercial and civil work across Sydney?
Yes. We take on slabs, footings, car parks, hardstand, kerbs, footpaths and drainage structures for builders, developers and civil contractors across greater Sydney, with our own crew handling the excavation and site preparation as well as the concrete.
Which council approves my driveway crossing?
The council for your property. Across our area that could be Hawkesbury, The Hills Shire, Hornsby Shire, City of Parramatta, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Penrith or Singleton. Several Hills suburbs sit on a council boundary, so check your rates notice, or ask us and we’ll confirm it before we quote.
Is the work the same on a rural block as in the suburbs?
The standard is the same. What changes is the site work: rural and acreage blocks often need clearing, longer runs, drainage across the slope and room for a truck to turn. We do that excavation and preparation ourselves, so it’s part of the same quote rather than a separate contractor.
How do I get a quote?
Call 0468 491 882 or send the quote form with your suburb, the type of job and a rough size. Quotes are free and broken down stage by stage, from excavation to finish, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.
Accuracy note
Council information on this page is general and was correct at the date checked against the sources named above. Boundaries change and some suburbs are split between councils, so confirm your own property with your council or on your rates notice. This is not advice for a specific property.
