Are these photos of your own work?

Yes. Every photo on this page is a Southo Concrete job, built by our own crew. Some show the finished concrete and some show the preparation underneath, such as formwork, steel mesh and excavation, because that’s the part that decides how long the concrete lasts.

What types of concreting do you do?

Rural and acreage, residential, commercial and civil concreting. That covers driveways, shed slabs, aprons and hardstand, sandstone retaining walls, paths and stairs, outdoor areas, pool surrounds, commercial slabs and floors, kerbs, footpaths and drainage.

Which areas do you work in?

We’re based in the Hawkesbury and work across the Hills, the Hawkesbury, Sydney and the Central Coast, on rural and acreage properties, homes, commercial sites and civil projects.

Do you do stamped and stencilled concrete?

Yes. Along with plain, coloured and exposed aggregate concrete, we do stamped and stencilled finishes. Every finish goes on the same preparation underneath.

Do you do the excavation as well as the concrete?

Yes. We do the clearing, excavation and site preparation ourselves, then the formwork, reinforcement, pour and finish. You don’t need to book a separate earthmoving contractor first.

Every quote is clear and itemised, breaking the job down stage by stage, from excavation and base preparation to the pour and finish, so you can see what’s included and compare it properly. Quotes are free.
