Industrial concreting FAQs
Anything else, call 0468 491 882.
What industrial concrete work do you do?
Warehouse and factory floors, heavy-duty hardstand and yards, aprons with trench and strip drains, and bases for machinery, equipment and tanks, plus the excavation and site preparation that goes underneath them.
Can you handle large industrial pours?
Yes. We size the crew to the job and bring in a large team for big floor and hardstand pours, and we do the excavation, formwork, reinforcement, placement and machine finishing ourselves.
Are you licensed and insured for industrial work?
Yes. Southo Concrete is a licensed NSW concreting contractor, licence number 398552C, ABN 55 852 128 340, with $20 million public and product liability cover, plus workers insurance. Certificates of currency are available on request. Our crew hold general construction induction (white card) certification, and we provide SWMS on request and complete site inductions as required.
Do you do the excavation and site preparation too?
Yes. Clearing, cutting, levelling and base preparation are done by the same crew that pours, so there’s one subcontractor on the concrete scope rather than two trades to coordinate.
Do you do commercial and civil work as well?
Yes. Commercial slabs, car parks and paving are on our commercial concreting page, and kerbs, footpaths and drainage in the road reserve are on our civil concreting page.
How quickly will you get back to me?
We aim to respond to every enquiry within 24 hours. Send the site address, program dates and drawings and we’ll come back to you.
